John Mikos has over two decades of experience delivering positive results to both business and government organizations.  John has been a military leader, a management consultant, a graduate school educator, and a community volunteer.    His entire working career has been dedicated to strengthening our country, improving organizations, and enhancing our community.

Leadership Experience

• Served as an active duty Army Officer for 20 years, retiring with rank of Lieutenant Colonel
• Experienced in managing budgets and projects while working in the Pentagon
• Developed hundreds of college students to be future leaders while serving as the commander of college Army ROTC in Chicago
• Served a combat tour in Iraq (2003-2004)

Management Skills

• Provided expertise as a management consultant in one of the world's largest global professional services firm
• Advised Fortune 500 companies on leading practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Helped government clients develop long range strategic plans
